The latest footballer to SPORT a JJ Monaghan watch is Kirsty Smith, Manchester United and Scotland defender. JJ Monaghan has always enjoyed building relationships with sportspeople, especially footballers, so we’re delighted to see Kirsty supporting us. Kirsty is a 25-year-old full-back who began her career at Hibernian, playing 139 times over 13 years at the club. She was part of the team that won the ‘double double’ of domestic cups in 3016 and 2017, also finishing as runners-up 4 times between 2013 and 2017.
Kirsty joined then Championship side Manchester United in 2018, making 16 league appearances as United won promotion to the Women’s Super League.
She has also represented Scotland at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, a 2014 World Cup qualification play-off and at under-17 and under-19 level.
