An homage to an extinct brand

Ortigia Collection

In the summer of 2024, I had just got married and was on honeymoon in Ortigia, Sicily.

Somehow, I had managed to forget to pack any of my own watches, so my wrist felt strangely empty as we wandered through the old streets...

Down one of the side streets, I came across a small vintage bazaar. In the window was one of the most striking watches I had ever seen. I went inside and, with the help of Google Translate, managed to speak with the shopkeeper, agree on a price, and buy it.

The dial carried the name “Ortin Watch”, a brand I had never heard of before. After months of searching, I still couldn’t find much more about it, other than that the piece is believed to date back to the 1960s.

This watch became the inspiration for our latest release: an homage to a beautiful Continental design, discovered by chance on the streets of Sicily.

Pre-orders are now open.
